Natalie Metzger is a Spirit Award nominated producer whose credits include THE WOLF OF SNOW HOLLOW (MGM/Orion), GREENER GRASS (Sundance), THUNDER ROAD (Grand Jury Award, SXSW), THE ROBBERY (Sundance), MATPAT’S GAME LAB (Streamy Award), and Lil Dicky’s FREAKY FRIDAY (over 654 million views), among numerous others. Metzger is currently in post on Jim Cummings’ THE BETA TEST, Josh Ruben’s WEREWOLVES WITHIN (Ubisoft), and Yogi Berra baseball documentary IT AIN’T OVER.
Natalie Metzger is also a writer/director. Her feature credits include AT&T original documentary ALONE IN THE GAME (AFI Docs, Outfest), which followed LGBTQ athletes and their unique experiences within the sports world, and healthcare documentary SPECIAL BLOOD, which won the Dolores Huerta Award for Best Director at Long Beach Indie Festival and Best Feature Documentary at California Women’s Film Festival. Metzger directed psa TOPLESS WOMEN TALK NFL, featured in the Washington Post and Huffington Post and winner of an Aurora Award (Platinum Best of Show) and a Telly Award. She has also directed numerous award-winning commercials and short films, including a short film IMMORTAL, which won Best Narrative Short at Eastern Oregon Film Festival, Best Set Design at Trans Stellar Film Festival, and screened at 17 film festivals including the Oscar-Qualifying HollyShorts.
Metzger’s feature script IMMORTAL won the Gold Prize at the Page International Screenwriting Awards and also made it into the top 15 sci-fi scripts of the year on Coverfly’s Red List. It was also a finalist in the Nashville Film Festival Screenwriting Competition and a semifinalist in Screencraft’s Drama Competition.
Metzger holds a Master of Fine Arts from California Institute of the Arts and a Bachelor of Arts from Emory University, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude, with the Sudler Award in the Arts and the Pioneer Award.
